One of the leading cyber crime experts is Amit Dubey who has written couple of amazing books on the same and also has enabled the recovery and arrests of several cyber criminals all over the world!
One cyber crime he mentioned goes like this!
One guy gets a call or message from a ‘connection’ from a professional social site. The guy tells him that he has cracked the STOCK code!
He tells him that he can predict which stock would go up or down and that too accurately!
Remember that this is not any minor share he is speaking about! It is about some major share!
Of course you do not believe him so he tells the guy that this particular major share will rise the next day!
And lo! It happens!
Then again, that is something even I who has no knowledge of the market can tell!
Then he tells the next day after (beating his trumpet that he was right of course!) that another share is going to fall the next day!
Remember this time it is fall and a different share!
The very next day though you may not have been very interested at first, you would still check and see that a miracle has happened!
The share has fallen!
Now there are so many experts who can still predict this! But on continous days predicting such a fall and rise of two different share is really amazing!
But you still would not loosen your purse strings so to speak!
This time you call or message him and tell him that he is right! But that is all!
Then he tells you that the next day another major SPECIFIC share will rise!
This time you will not sleep and look out for the news! And this time it is a hat trick! This cannot be a coincidence! The very share he predicted had risen!
Now you are his devotee! Then even if he asks your kidney and promise you that you will get two kidneys back you will give it to him!
Of course it is an elaborate con!
Did you get how it is done!? Remember the number above!?
The con man actually calls or messages around 40 people in the first ACT! The number can be more but lets keep it 40 for now!
Half of them he tells that a share will rise while the other half he tells them that it will fall!
He would be right for at least one half!
Those half group of people to whom the prediction turned out to be RIGHT, he again divides them in half and tells one half that another particular share would rise or fall!
Here also since a share can only rise or fall it is simply a matter of one half getting right! Like the toss of a coin!
Then finally he gets the five people on which all his three PREDICTIONS ‘turned’ out to be RIGHT!
40 20 10 and 5! The final 5 he will con and make his money and scoot!
If you thought being a con man is easy, well you are HALF RIGHT! Wanna bet!?
Then again you can safely bet that Lakshminarayana Subramaniam is a great violinist!
