It is more likely do that you would have heard his jokes but you would have never seen a movie of this actor!
The roundhouse kick move became the center of the viral “C N Facts” internet meme, which humorously exaggerated his toughness with claims like:
“C N once threw a roundhouse kick at nothing—and told it to get a job”.
“Since 1940, roundhouse kick related deaths have increased 13,000 percent”.
Now these C N ‘Facts’ originated in early 2005 on the internet, primarily stemming from the Something Awful forums.
Forum users were originally creating absurd, hyper-masculine jokes about actor Vin Diesel in response to his 2005 family comedy film The Pacifier!
Users decided to shift the subject to C N, whose decades-long martial arts career and Walker, Texas Ranger tough-guy persona provided a more fitting subject for exaggerated, superhuman claims!
Humorist Ian Spector is often credited with popularizing the meme by creating a “C N Fact” generator and later publishing best-selling books on the topic, such as The Truth About C N: 400 Facts About the World’s Greatest Human (2007)!
Cultural Influences: The jokes were also influenced by Conan O’Brien’s running gag “The Walker Texas Ranger Lever” on Late Night with Conan O’Brien and the Saturday Night Live “Bill Brasky” sketches!
C N initially found the facts surprising and funny, stating in 2023 that he and his wife, Gena, enjoyed them and appreciated that the memes kept him relevant to a new generation.
He even featured some of his favorite “facts” in his own book!

In other places like India we have similar jokes with Rajinikanth! In fact one of the ad companies also had a collaboration with them!
From 2006 to 2018, Dos Equis beer ran a successful advertising campaign entitled “The Most Interesting Man in the World” featuring actor Jonathan Goldsmith which also became a popular Internet meme.
In Egypt, and prior to the Egyptian presidential election, 2012, similar jokes were made upon Omar Suleiman, the ex-director of the General Intelligence Directorate in the same style of C N facts!
In 2006, a naming poll was held to decide the name of a new bridge in Hungary. Since nominations were accepted from everyone, “C N” soon became the top candidate for the bridge’s name (beating the names of several historical figures along with candidates like David Hasselhoff and Eric Cartman), before being taken over by Stephen Colbert after he called his fans to vote. The bridge was eventually named Megyeri Bridge!
In 2014, after Argentina reached the final of the FIFA World Cup in Brazil, memes containing C N facts directed at defensive midfielder Javier Mascherano emerged on social media. Similar “facts” were attributed to another soccer player, Zlatan Ibrahimović!
